Catholic Mothers Ireland started in 2015 with a mother who saw the challenges both she and her friends were facing bringing their children up in the Catholic faith.
She saw a need for somewhere these mothers could go for support and encouragement in their demanding roles as wives and mothers as well as growing in their faith through sharing their experiences.
As there was nothing that seemed to cater to these needs, she felt called to start a group that would. The aim was simple, a group of mothers getting together to pray, learn about our faith and to talk.
It started with a small group of friends meeting every couple of months and through their prayers and enthusiasm it has now developed into a growing community of mothers meeting regularly, praying together and learning together.
